Type FKS-EU

Fire dampers require approval.


 

Extended licence with new type designation

The Type EN-FKS-K90 fire dampers were tested according to the European standard.

This is why they have been renamed into FKS-EU.

This change of name did not result in any technical changes.

The new general building inspectorate licence Z-41.3-653 is available.

  • This small rectangular fire damper can be installed in solid walls and ceilings and in lightweight partition walls.
  • This model has the national technical approval Z-41.3-653.

The fire dampers are suitable for installation in walls and ceilings made of concrete or masonry and in lightweight partition walls. The damper installation is independent of the air flow direction.
The thermal release devices with the fusible links are removable from the outside and easy to revise.
All versions are additionally equipped with two more inspection ports.                                                                                                                                                                                         Supervision by an external organisation as required by the German law is performed by FMPA, Baden-Württemberg.
